Home Buying Season
As the snow finally melts and spring turns to summer, sure as warmer temperatures, home owners put up ‘for sale’ signs on their property for people who are looking for homes for sale. This means more competition between home buyers, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing for home sellers. In fact, home buying season can be beneficial to both sides of the buying process.
What are some tell-tale signs you’re in the hottest home buying season?
- Tons of Listings (It seems counterintuitive, but for the real estate market more listings mean more people are buying. If there are tons of listings in the neighborhood you’d like to buy in it’s probably not the best time to buy.)
- Curb Appeal is On Point (Springtime is when the flowers are in bloom, so better curb appeal is a natural result. The better a home looks from the outside, the more it will typically sell for.)
