Edmonton’s Northeast merged to become a part of the City of Edmonton in 1961. Home to a number of parks, this area encompasses several residential communities including Casselman-Steele Heights, Clareview and Pilot Sound. The northeast sector is generally bounded by 66 Street to the west, Highway 37 to the north, North Saskatchewan River to the east and southeast and Highway 16 (Yellowhead) to the South.
